Building impact through measurable sustainability

    Sustainability in action

Building and operating sustainably matters to everyone. It’s the key to the safer water, better sanitation, climate‑resilient cities and more efficient buildings we all want in our future.

This is why each year we move our sustainability forward in ways that help you increase the sustainability of your activities, too.

Recent advances include expanding our Take Back Recycling Service and range of bio-based solutions to boost circularity and launching innovations such as 100% circular inspection chambers. We’ve also supported water stewardship partnerships, including working with Microsoft towards water-positive goals.

Plus, internally, we continue to increase our use of renewable energy and reduce waste.

    Transparancy about our progress

Accountability and transparency are important, so you can easily track our sustainability progress through reporting and external benchmarking.

As Orbia’s building and infrastructure business, our sustainability work contributes to Orbia’s wider priorities on emissions reduction, circularity, water management, safety and governance.

We currently hold EcoVadis Silver and CDP Climate B and Water B, alongside other ESG ratings listed in our sustainability one-pager, which can be downloaded via the tile below.

Our parent company Orbia’s annual Impact Report gives a comprehensive picture of what has improved, what still needs work, and how local actions add up across the group.

You can examine our sustainability and environmental performance, and the data charting our progress. Again, click on the tile below to access the full report.

    Sustainable solutions

Moving the construction industry toward net zero starts with solutions that simply do a better job—for people and the planet. From urban climate resilience to healthier indoor environments, our portfolio helps you build more sustainable, future-ready projects while keeping the footprint as low as possible.

To make your choices easier, we back these solutions with clear, reliable data—including product-specific, third-party verified Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) across our European portfolio and selected products in Latin America. We’re also piloting Digital Product Passports to give you even more insight into lifecycle impact.

All of this helps you deliver safer water supplies, better sanitation, climate-resilient cities and improved building performance. Click below to continue reading about our sustainable solutions and EPDs.

    Environmental impact

Working to clear targets, we intend to cut our Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 47% by 2030 (compared to our 2019 figures) and reach net zero by 2050.

To give you an indication of our progress: by 2025, we had achieved a 70% reduction in our emissions, and we operate on 100% renewable electricity in EMEA and 76% renewable energy globally.

    Circular economy

Moving construction away from a traditional “take, make, dispose” model requires practical action. That's why we're investing in low-carbon, circular and bio-based solutions, while expanding our Take-Back collection and recycling services across Europe and Latin America to help keep valuable materials in use for longer.

Our commitment is backed by clear, measurable targets. We're working towards using 50 kilotons of circular material by 2030, while continuing to increase the recyclability of our product portfolio. This approach has helped us achieve 93% recyclability, ahead of our initial target of 90%.

    Social Inclusion Latam Projects 2024

    Social inclusion

Effective sustainability means thinking both local and global. Our Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) projects, community initiatives, donations, volunteering and skills building make a practical impact in local communities.

The 21 WASH projects and 12 community projects we delivered in 2025 benefited around 38,000 people. During that year, over 2,000 of our colleagues volunteered across 78 activities worldwide. Read about our social initiatives and how they’re supporting communities globally.

    Environmental transparancy

Making sustainable product choices starts with reliable environmental information. Environmental Profiles (EPs) and Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), built on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) data, help you compare products consistently and understand their environmental impact across the lifecycle.

We continue to expand the availability of independently verified environmental data across our portfolio to support sustainable construction.
