Low noise
Pipe material is crucial to creating an effective, low-noise drainage solution. The heavier the material, the more difficult it is for sound to propagate. That’s why Wavin SiTech+ is made from mineral-reinforced polypropylene, making it 40% heavier than standard polypropylene.
Easy to install
From small renovations to large-scale construction projects, Wavin SiTech+ offers an easy-to-install low-noise drainage solution. Ribbed mouldings provide a better grip, and fittings are equipped with an angular rotation mark at 15° and 45° to enable quick and correct positioning. In addition, pipes are easier to cut to length thanks to centimetre markings on the pipes.
Safe and secure
Temperature fluctuations cause plastic pipe systems to expand and contract. To manage this, Wavin SiTech+ features a bumper on the fittings, helping installers to see and feel whether the fitting is fully inserted immediately. These markings also confirm the 10mm space needed to cope with thermal expansion in long pipe lengths.
Low-noise brackets
In addition to its optimized three-layer pipe structure for reduced noise levels, fittings are 20% heavier to improve acoustic comfort during water flow. The system also includes the Wavin Low Noise bracket - a single bracket that can be used in multiple configurations to optimize noise performance. For increased flexibility of application, it can be used in fix point and sliding point, horizontal and vertical installation, low noise (single), and no noise (double) applications.
Improved UV resistance
The black-coloured system improves protection against UV radiation when stored outside at a building site, while the matte black finish is less sensitive to dirt, giving the system a more professional appearance.
