2025 Impact Report
Orbia has published its 2025 Impact Report. Next to the company’s annual business performance, this report brings together key sustainability and environmental results from across the Orbia group.
The report provides a clear overview of how Orbia and its business groups (including Wavin) are performing on issues such as lowering emissions, more efficient resource use, circularity, smart water management and safety. With sustainability embedded in how we operate (and not being a compliance checkbox), we continue to address the world’s – and our stakeholders – most pressing challenges.
Sustainability is closely linked to how we grow our business and support our customers over the long term. By acting and reporting transparently on sustainability, we respond to changing expectations from customers, investors and communities. We reduce systemic risks and create durable value to ensure our solutions remain relevant, resilient and competitive in the years ahead.
Orbia Building & Infrastructure (Wavin): delivering impact through infrastructure
Within Orbia’s overall performance, Building & Infrastructure (Wavin) owns a clearly defined space. Wavin focuses on potable water supply, sanitation, rainwater management and indoor climate systems—areas that directly affect resource efficiency, climate adaptation and the long‑term reliability of infrastructure in cities.
In 2025, Wavin continued to expand its low‑carbon and circular product portfolio, increasing the use of recycled materials and designing systems that are fully recyclable at end of life. In 2025, we launched the Wavin Tegra 600 LC (Low-Carbon) sewer inspection chamber: made with 70% circular material, reducing CO2e emissions by up to 70%. We also introduced the Wavin PVC+ range, a low-carbon solution with 20% circular material in fittings, 10% in pipes and 100% recyclability.
Wavin expanded its Take‑Back recycling programms, collecting end‑of‑life plastic pipes and fittings and turning them back into high‑quality raw material for new infrastructure products. The service is now also available in Mexico, Denmark, Sweden, Brazil and Poland, alongside existing operations in Colombia and the Netherlands. We are proud of the continuous growth of this service and would like to hereby thank all our participating customers and partners!
The Wavin Take-Back approach helps avoid incineration and landfill, lowers CO₂ emissions and offers customers a practical way to reduce the footprint of infrastructure projects (without compromising performance, durability or compliance of course). In terms of waste to landfill, 95% of Wavin sites achieved zero waste to landfill.
On city level, Wavin supported municipalities and utilities with climate‑resilient water management solutions. Stormwater attenuation, infiltration and treatment systems (like the new Wavin Certaro Lamella HDS) were deployed to help manage heavier rainfall, reduce flood risk and improve rainwater reuse. At the same time, Wavin worked with water utilities to improve network efficiency and reduce water losses, supporting a more secure water supply in both new developments and existing urban areas.
One Orbia responsibility
The 2025 Impact Report brings together results from across the Orbia group. It covers key areas such as emissions, material use, water, safety and governance, and shows how progress is achieved through cooperation between businesses, teams and countries.
Within this wider picture, Wavin’s results sit alongside Orbia’s work in areas such as agriculture, energy materials, connectivity and polymers. This group‑wide approach helps Orbia remain resilient over time and better respond to changing regulations, environmental challenges and increasing pressure on resources.
Transparency, accountability, progress
The 2025 Impact Report reflects Orbia’s focus on clear, decision‑relevant reporting, aligned with recognised sustainability frameworks and ever-evolving regulatory requirements. It shows where progress has been made, where targets have been met and where further work is needed.
You are invited to explore the full report and see how Orbia—and Orbia Building & Infrastructure (Wavin)—are translating sustainability commitments into concrete actions and measurable results across products, operations and value chains.
