The Wavin Calefa II Heat Interface Unit uses a single wireless sensor to adjust hot water temperatures based on the outside air automatically. This weather compensation saves energy (up to 5%) and simplifies installation: less wiring, faster setup and lower costs. One sensor works for multi-unit buildings, reducing investment and maintaining a clean exterior.

Calefa II learns residents' hot water use and automatically adjusts to only heat water when needed. It gathers data for two weeks and uses it to predict usage patterns. If hot water isn’t used for a while, Calefa II stops heating until needed, reducing standby energy waste. This saves energy and money while ensuring hot water is always available when needed.

Calefa II prioritizes hot water in homes and apartments for peak usage times (like mornings). It temporarily pauses heating to maintain hot water flow, boosting network capacity by 50%. This eliminates the need for a hot water tank, saving space and money.

The system features a pressure-independent Frese Optima Compact valve with a fast-acting motor that ensures quick delivery of hot water, fully opening in just one second

The unit's high-performance heat exchanger makes it ideal for low-temperature district heating, ensuring efficient use of circulating water.

The bypass function keeps the system at the correct temperature, reducing the wait for hot water. Using the auto function, the controller learns the consumption pattern and adapts to the expected demand. The system can also be manually programmed with custom time intervals via the control display.
