Soumendra Mishra
Soumendra Mishra brings an impressive track record of over 25 years in accelerated general management across various building materials sectors, including Pipes & Fittings, Pigments, Paints, Construction Chemicals, and other related Plastics industries.
As Commercial Director BU India at Orbia B&I India, Soumendra is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive sales strategy aimed at driving profitable growth for Orbia B&I in India. Part of the India Leadership Team, he will lead collaborations with cross-functional teams to identify and develop strategies to boost overall performance, ultimately driving greater customer satisfaction.
Prior to joining Orbia B&I India, Soumendra served as Vice President - High Rise & Infra Vertical, with additional responsibility for International Markets at Ashirvad Pipes Pvt. Ltd. (Aliaxis India), Tata Steel, Pidilite Industries, and Sika India.
Soumendra holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from SIT in Tumkur, Karnataka, India, where he specialized in Polymer technology.
Mona Pradhan
Mona Pradhan is a seasoned leader who brings 23 years of rich experience from the field of Strategic HR Management. Mona is an Orbia veteran, having transitioned to Orbia B&I APAC from Dura Line, where she spent 11 years in strategic roles.
As Regional HR Director, Mona is responsible for the People function of Orbia B&I APAC Region. Her focus is to provide strategic HR support in change management, translating business vision into HR initiatives that improve performance, profitability, growth, and employee engagement. She is a genuine influencer who thrives on tough challenges and translates visions and strategies into actionable, value-added goals to the benefit of the organization.
In the past, Mona was also associated with Honeywell India, Aryan Lifestyle, Genesis Colours & Labsoft India Pvt. Ltd., where she also served in leadership roles.
Mona obtained her MBA in Human Resource Management from Utkal University in India.
Sandeep Garg
Finance
Sandeep Garg draws on around 23 years of progressive leadership experience in strategic and operational financial management. His vast experience in diverse cultures in the field of Operational Finance, Financial Planning & Reporting, M&A, Treasury, and short/long-term financial strategy have enabled him to drive business transformation at the organization.
As Director Finance (CFO), Sandeep leads the strategic and operational financial management of the company, and acts as a strong business partner to the India Business.
Sandeep has previously worked with Premier Global, Motherson Sumi Systems, and Schneider Electric in Senior leadership positions and during the past few years also as CFO of Musashi Auto Parts India and Exicom Tele-Systems Limited. In 2021, he was awarded CFO of the Year for the Electric Mobility Segment during his CFO stint at Exicom Tele-Systems Limited.
A Chartered Accountant by qualification, Sandeep is also a Whole-Time Director on the Board.
Bharat Reddy Kona
Manufacturing Operations & Excellence
Bharat Reddy Kona boasts of a progressive career journey spanning 25 years of comprehensive experience in network strategy, project management, process improvement, capacity planning, and supply chain management.
As Director of Manufacturing Operations & Excellence, Bharat is responsible for all Orbia B&I manufacturing plants in India, Bharat’s focus is to provide strategic direction to promote process standardization and optimize our manufacturing operations. He also leads the Supply Chain management and initiatives aimed at achieving operational excellence, streamlining of footprint, as well as implementing best practices.
Prior to joining Orbia B&I, Bharat worked as Vice President at Sun Pharma. He also held the position of Director at G&W Labs & Watson Pharmaceuticals. Additionally, he currently serves as the Chairperson of the Ethics Committee for Clinical Research at Pranaam Hospital in Hyderabad.
Bharat holds a Master’s degree in industrial engineering, as well as an MBA from Clemson University in South Carolina, USA.
Virendra Verma
Procurement
With nearly three decades of industrial experience under his belt, Virendra Verma brings prolific expertise in in the field of Polymers and Piping industry. A driven leader, he is keen on furthering strategy in Commodity Polymer Sales & Marketing, Operations, Business Development and Procurement.
As head of Procurement at Orbia B&I India, Virendra is responsible for strategically aligning procurement with the overall business objectives of the organization. Virendra has working experience in Detailed Project Engineering for the world’s largest grassroot refinery, including Polymer Sales & Marketing, as well as in the downstream Pipe and WST industry. His other areas of expertise include maintaining P&L for pipe manufacturing unit, new product development, multi-locational manufacturing unit establishment, expansion & procurement for existing manufacturing units to keep business on a growth trajectory.
He has an Engineering Degree and Diploma in Marketing.
