Secure connections
All Wavin PPR(CT) systems use well-established homogeneous welding techniques to join components. The weld becomes the strongest part of the system. Using both socket welding and electro-fusion, secure welds ensure the reliability of the whole system.
Pipes
A wide selection of pipes ensures an optimal solution for any of your needs. We offer both monolithic and multi-layer pipes made of PP-R (type 3) or new generation PP-RCT (type 4) raw materials. Compared to regular PP-R pipes, PP-RCT pipes have a significantly thinner wall. In this way, PP-RCT pipes of the same diameter provide a third of the flow capacity, which means that smaller diameters can be used in many cases. Moreover, even with a thinner wall, the PN class of PP-RCT pipes is higher than that of PP-R pipes. You have not worked with new generation PP-RCT products? No problem - both PP-R and PP-RCT pipes have the same welding parameters.
BASALTTHERM multilayer pipes
Faced with extremely high linear elongation of monolithic PP-R pipes? Choose the unique multi-layer BASALTTHERM pipes. The inner and outer layers of the pipe are made of pure new generation polypropylene PP-RCT (type 4), and the middle layer of PP-RCT is mixed with basalt fiber. Thanks to basalt fiber pipes, the linear expansion is 3 times smaller. These pipes are not only an alternative to fiberglass PP-R or multi-layered PP-R pipes with an aluminum middle layer, but also have a higher pressure resistance at higher temperatures.
What’s next?
Water supply and heating systems can also be installed using flexible multi-layer metal-polymeric pipes and pressed plastic ("Wavin Tigris K5/K1") or brass ("Wavin Tigris M5/M1") connecting parts. Take a look at the Wavin Tigris family range and choose the solution that best suits your needs.
