Drainage is important for many reasons

• if the soil dries slowly, sowing is delayed;

• in rainy weather, plant roots lack oxygen, so plants turn yellow and grow slowly (they are usually more sensitive to drought);

• it is particularly difficult to harvest in wet soils;

• it is more difficult to destroy weeds in poorly drained fields;

• wet soil is almost impossible to plow in autumn.

Three types of PVC pipe

Wavin offers three types of PVC corrugated drainage pipes. A simple drainage pipe is used in the case when the composition of the soil is neutral, i.e. neither sand nor clay predominates. A drainage pipe with a geotextile filter is used in sandy soil. A drain pipe with a coir filter is used in clay soil.

The solution

The Wavin drainage system perfectly overcomes all the aforementioned difficulties. Using this system, the soil is drained with high quality, so the plants take root widely, and their productivity increases. When you need to drain house foundations, courts or roads, PVC drainage pipes are indispensable.
